Welcome to Something Under the Sun. The day that God gave me the ideal of starting this blog, I was seeking Him for strength and comfort because of something that I was facing myself. Then that sweet small voice came to me and said “Remember my child, that the race is not given to swift,” and immediately I felt the love of God come over me like a warm blanket on a very cold day. Those words encouraged me much than I can ever express. This life is filled vast chance of opportunities that God can use to reveal His glory and show Himself mighty in the midst of our trails and adversity. We must endure this life with faith and confidence in Jesus Christ to do above and beyond what we can ask or think. Our willingness to endure life’s race and or battle confirms our faith and confidence in our Father in heaven, which will keep our wicks trimmed and our lamps burning bright. It is my prayer that this blog encourages all those who reads it. Remember, the race or battle we are in is just a test of endurance; Jesus Christ has already ran the race, fought the battle, and WON THE VICTORY!!! AMEN!!!
